Waggon Sessions #02 /w DJ Alsmosen
I had a lot of fun choosing some of my favorite records for my first DJ session, back at my old stomping ground, so to speak, the train cars I used to be a part of.
Some of these songs had already made themselves at home in my wagon years before.
I remember sitting by the stove in the morning listening to the album Land of No Junction by Aoife Nessa Frances, or listening to the rattling of trains and Wedding by Einstürzende Neubauten with friends over wine and cigarettes.
Overall, it turned out to be a very personal set. But not exclusively nostalgic. I was particularly happy to play a few bands I’m friends with or know, such as Albertine Sarges, Das bisschen Totschlag, and World Brain. With absolute hits!
