Beginning with the wonderfully playful, jazzy, yet electronic and, to my ears, best Start Breaking My Heart (which also gives us the episode picture), through the indie rock and psychedelic influences, to my Caribou entry Swim, the long-running hit Sun, to one of the biggest disappointments on the record shelf: Our Love. I don’t think the poppy album is that bad anymore, but I haven’t touched a new release by Dan since.
